• Review of Configuration and Process Design of AXENS for Iran Oil Company.
• Technical assistance to Axens on their proposal to Dangote Oil Refining Company covering Feasibility study, and the design of Process Units.

Saudi Aramco, Dhahran, KSA

• Pre-feasibility study to integrate a green field mixed feed cracker (1.5 MMTPA) and petrochemicals at Ras Tanura refinery with minor/major unit additions.
• Optimized configuration with LP runs. Development of scope of work for DFS and PEP (project execution plan)
• Client’s consultant to develop a PFR by Contractor (Foster Wheeler) to achieve integration of refinery with petrochemicals by adding 1MMTPA mixed feed cracker and downstream polyolefin, mixed butene and specialities projects.

Saudi International Petrochemical Company

• Development of a mega petrochemical complex starting from a Gas Cracker with Polyolefin, mixed Butylene’s & Specialities. Prepared Detailed Feasibility Reports. Negotiations with Process Licensors, JV prospects, Marketing Consultants and Project Management Consultants. Supported Project Execution Team with selection of LSTK contractor.
• Acetyls Complex: Development of DFR for a mega complex for 500 KTA Acetic Acid, 300 KTA Vinyl Acetate Monomer and 100 KTA Ethyl Acetate. Selection of Process Licensors, JV prospects, Marketing Consultants and PMC for execution thru FEED & LSTK.
• Development of economic sensitivities, Assessment of project viability and business risks in chemicals and fertilizer production along with power generation with 6 MMTPA pet-coke available from Saudi Aramco-Total Refinery(SATORP)

Adisseo France SAS

• Development work for a 600KTA Methionine project in KSA- (Animal feed Protein from gaseous/liquid effluents). Review of safety in design aspects of sour gas, ammonia, methanol and sulphuric acid to transport by pipelines required per detailed feasibility study. Achieved synergies with major local petrochemical industries and oil refineries, secured access to feedstock, State subsidized natural gas and land, identified a local JV partner and negotiated a JV agreement.

Maxwell Stamp Saudi Arabia

• Developed a High Level Business Case for Abu Hadriyah-Royal Commission Jubail, utilizing locally available basic/intermediate chemicals to develop a Chemical cluster and meet envisaged secondary/tertiary product requirements.

• Explored prospects for outright sale of unused assets of a 200KTA PTA plant of SVC Petrochem, Mathura by making an attractive case being a mothballed asset.
